 holding range is rated to G2.5 at 15,000 rev/min as standard, with tighter balanced performance available on request.

 

The balance, and the TIR (total indicated run-out) of less than 3 micron achieved, makes the range ideal for use in demanding sectors such as aerospace, motorsport, die and mould and toolmaking.

 

Leader told manufacturingtalk that the Dellner toolholders suit any industry where tool rigidity during high speed cutting is critical to the accuracy of the finished part.

 

Smooth cylindrical shanks up to 32mm diameter and Weldon shanks up to 20mm diameter can be clamped directly in the holder.

 

Standard clamping tool shank diameters are 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20 and 32mm, with metric and imperial intermediate sleeves available to hold tool shanks between 3mm and 25mm diameter.
